Carrie provides leadership in the design and development of curriculum and related course materials for units across UBC. She collaborates with units and stakeholders to help identify curricular needs and appropriate ways of addressing those needs. She oversees projects from needs analysis and program reviews through proposal development, implementation and evaluation. She has been involved as an educator, scholar and educational leader for almost 20 years. Her work has been published in the Journal of Workplace Learning and in Higher Education, and she holds a Master of Adult Education degree from Queen’s University and a doctorate in Higher Education from UBC. She is passionate about learning in all its forms and has a special interest in inter-professional education and education for a knowledge based economy.
