Make the Most Out of CTLT Resource Services

By Sophie Gardner on July 31, 2014

Have you wanted to implement a new approach in your teaching but felt unsure about where to begin or what kinds of resources are out there to help you put it into practice? Are you experiencing a challenge or having a question in your teaching and wondering how educators discuss it based on research or their teaching experiences? We may have some solutions for you!

Teaching and Learning Resources Portal

Visit the Teaching and Learning Resources Portal on the UBC Wiki, to access (and contribute to) resources and articles on a diverse range of teaching and learning topics, strategies, issues, and tools. The portal has now been accessed over 28,000 times since its launch in 2012. Please keep visiting the site: It is under constant development with new content. Here are some of the bibliographies/resources that have been recently created or updated in the portal:

  • Inquiry-Based Learning
  • Student Feedback/Assessment/Evaluation
  • Student Peer Assessment
  • Teaching Assistants

If the portal does not have a topic that you are looking for, you can submit a bibliography request by filling out a request form.

The CTLT is located on the ancestral and unceded territory of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ - speaking xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) peoples. These lands have long been a place of learning for Musqueam, with cultural and traditional knowledge passed down from generation to generation for thousands of years.
