CIRTL@UBC launches a new website

By emi1989 on February 1, 2017

CIRTL@UBC has launched a new website for graduate students and post doc in STEM disciplines.

CIRTL@UBC is the UBC node of the Centre for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL), a network of research-intensive universities interested in improving STEM undergraduate teaching through graduate student and post doc training. The mission of CIRTL is to enhance the training and support available to graduate students and post docs who teach in STEM undergraduate classes. UBC is currently the only member of CIRTL from outside the United States.

There are various ways in which to engage with CIRTL@UBC as a graduate student, post doc, or faculty member. Graduate students and post docs can work towards CIRTL membership at Associate, Practitioner and Scholar levels. Faculty can engage as supervisors for graduate students undertaking Teaching as Research (TAR) projects.

For more information on how to get involved, visit the CIRTL@UBC website or contact cirtl.info@ubc.ca

The CTLT is located on the ancestral and unceded territory of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ - speaking xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) peoples. These lands have long been a place of learning for Musqueam, with cultural and traditional knowledge passed down from generation to generation for thousands of years.
