Keep Teaching Website

UBC has launched the Keep Teaching website to support faculty in developing their own strategies to continue to meet the needs of their courses online, if there are disruptions in on-campus teaching and learning. This planning, including considering alternative approaches to final exams, will enable the university to be prepared and act quickly should the need arise.

Faculties and Departments are being asked to start planning how they can offer academic instruction and assessment through alternate means. Keep Teaching has guidance on how to prepare to offer lectures, group work and discussion, and quizzes online through Canvas. Please visit keepteaching.ubc.ca to learn about resources available to you. Being prepared to offer many aspects of face-to-face or blended courses online is an important part of planning for events that may disrupt normal campus operations.

Information on the Keep Teaching website will assist you through putting the various parts of your course online to maintain academic continuity.
