We have updated the login method to utilize your UBC Campus Wide Login (CWL).
New Login Method Instructions:
You can now access lynda.com through our UBC lynda.ubc.ca portal page. Once on the portal page, simply click the login button and enter your UBC CWL username and password. You can continue to login from any home (VPN not required) or work computer.
Important Instructions for Your First CWL Login to Lynda.com:
- Please do not use the mobile app for your first CWL lynda.com login.
- Upon your first CWL login, you will be asked to transfer your pilot account usage history to your new profile.
- When prompted, please select “I’ve had an account” and enter your previous username & password.
- Transferring your course history is optional but can only be done the first time you login with your CWL.
- Please take a moment to bookmark http://lynda.ubc.ca for ongoing access to lynda.com, as you will no longer have access to login in directly from lynda.com’s login screen with your initial email based username and password.
Specific Mobile Access Instructions:
To access your user profile through your downloaded iOS or Android app, launch the app; tap “login”; tap “web portal”; type “www.ubc.ca” in the URL field; enter your CWL when prompted. If you want to download the mobile app the instructions are on http://www.lynda.com/mobile-apps.
