Because of these demands Jessica “didn’t have any time to commit to another course with fully scheduled lectures.” In order to add more flexibility to her schedule, Jessica took two distance education courses: EOSC 114 and EOSC 116.

A Nursing Student Works towards a Master’s Degree with Distance Education

Sherri Morrish has spent the past 16 years in the nursing field and has now set her sights on earning a Master’s of Science in Nursing with a major in Clinical Education. It seems like a lot to handle, being a wife, mother to two young daughters, and working full time while studying for her degree, but not for Sherri. She has managed to balance it all with distance education.

The CTLT is located on the ancestral and unceded territory of the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ - speaking xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) peoples. These lands have long been a place of learning for Musqueam, with cultural and traditional knowledge passed down from generation to generation for thousands of years.
