In September 2014, the Provosts of both UBC campuses sponsored a four month visioning exercise around the future of learning technologies used in support of teaching and learning. This initial work, guided with input from faculty, staff, and students, has resulted in a design map of how this space should evolve over the next two to three years, together with the key functional improvements, enhanced support services, more agile governance structures, and principles for on-going evaluation.
