Educational Consultant, Classroom and Campus Climate

The unceded, ancestral, and traditional land of the Musqueam people is where Erin lives, works, and plays. She is a Korean settler that grew up and moved from the territory of Haudenosaunee and Anishnaabeg peoples. Erin supports and leads UBC teaching and learning community’s professional and capacity development in creating classroom climate that is supportive to teaching and learning. She provides consultation, process design, facilitation, programming, and resource development services to the UBC community focused on classroom climate, specifically related to Indigeneity, and other politically and culturally sensitive issues. Erin completed her Masters in Education at UBC, where her research focused on Korean Canadian immigrant narratives and understandings of identity.
