Please join us for the 2014 CTLT Institute to share practice and research around teaching, learning and educational technologies. This year, the Institute will span over two weeks starting June 3 – 10, 2014, featuring 27 workshops and information sessions led by 44 facilitators from 36 UBC departments and units and four universities.
Come network with the UBC teaching community and discuss topics ranging from grammar squirrel to SoTL, and from Open Education to VideoCamp.

On June 10 we will be ending the CTLT Institute with the Flexible Learning Open House. An FL Poster Session will be followed by a special keynote address from Derek Bruff, Director of the Vanderbilt University Centre for Teaching. In this session titled, “Class Time Reconsidered”, Derek will unpack the idea of the flipped classroom and explore learning principles and teaching practices that can help us make more intentional and effective use of class time.
