RUSS 316 final research project

The research project is in the form of a research proposal. Based on instructor feedback on Assignments 1, 2 and 3 and your own interests, you should now formulate a plan of action for a large research paper.

Your written submission for the Final Project should consist of

  1. Introduction (Assignment N 1 and 2 revised).
  2. A list of films, books, and articles relevant to your plan of action (you are not making any commitment to watching/reading everything in your list):
  3. A short description of what information you expect to gain from the items in your list.

Required length -8-10 pages, double-spaced, 12 pt. including bibliography

Why did you choose this slide?

What are you aiming to convey with it?

As an example of content-based instruction method in a project based upper-level language course.

How do you think it contributes to student learning?

Students learn the language while accomplishing a real research task, which is a research project of a Russian film of their choice.
