This section outlines a number of existing services and advising that can be accessed by staff, faculty, and students who are doing anti-racism work.

Consultations Services from the Equity & Inclusion Office (EIO)  Equity & Inclusion Office Staff and faculty UBC’s Equity & Inclusion Office provides a range of services and supports to university partners. Work is grounded in evidence-based approaches and supports the advancement of UBC’s strategic commitments around equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Human Rights Advising Equity & Inclusion Office Staff, faculty, and students Human Rights Advising provides support for anyone at UBC who has concerns related to discrimination on the basis of one or more of the 14 grounds protected by the BC Human Rights Code and as defined by UBC’s policy SC7: Discrimination (PDF).
Indigenous Research Support Initiative (IRSI) Vice-President, Research & Innovation (VPRI) Office Staff, faculty, and students The Indigenous Research Support Initiative (IRSI) provides professional support and services for Indigenous research collaborations across both UBC Vancouver and UBC Okanagan campuses.
Office of Indigenous Strategic Initiatives (OISI)   UBC Indigenous Strategic Plan (ISP) Staff, faculty, and students The Office of Indigenous Strategic Initiatives (OISI) provides guidance to Faculties, departments, operational units and student groups across UBC’s Vancouver and Okanagan campuses in their alignment with the eight goals and 43 actions of the ISP. It also provides advice to UBC leadership on how best to improve the experiences of Indigenous students, faculty and staff across the university.
Consultations with the Centre for Community Engaged Learning Centre for Community Engaged Learning Faculty Community Engaged Learning Officers consult with faculty to design, deliver, and evaluate their community engaged learning courses.
