Perspectives on the Transition at the Vancouver Campus
The transition to emergency remote teaching, starting March, 2020, has changed much about how we teach and learn at UBC.
Dr. Silvia Bartolic and Dr. Neil Guppy from UBC’s Department of Sociology, with the support of the Teaching and Learning Enhancement Fund (TLEF), examine this transition from a range of perspectives, including UBCV students, faculty and administrators.
They draw conclusions on what worked well, unexpected consequences, and what impact this time may have on future teaching and learning.
